The media class surveyed 20 students Out of this
55% of the student that were surveyed were female and 45% of them were male
according to this the magazine would need to be a tad more feminine then
masculine as according to this survey there is a higher percentage of male
students. The survey asked students if they would pay for a college magazine
70% of students said no they would not pay for a college magazine this means
that the magazine would either have to be free or a small price like 5p for example.
When asked what would encourage people to but the college magazine most of the
students said that they would like to have or see free thing in the magazine
such as discounts in shops and around the college students also said they would
like to see information about the college in this magazine furthermore the
students wanted music to appear in the magazine such as download charts and
stuff. A staggering 80% of the students that were surveyed said that they
regularly check their college e-mails this means the students could be informed
about when the college magazine is coming out they could also be given a brief summary
of what the magazine would contain. When asked how often the students would
like the magazine to be published 50% of them said that they would like the
magazine to be monthly. Only 25% of students said that they would contribute to
a college magazine when they were asked if they would be interested in
contributing to the college magazine. The students were asked about what they
would like to see in the magazine the students come up with these main topics

college pictures
the students said that bright colours mixed with pictures of
students that had been taken by students.100% of the students that were
surveyed said that they currently do not read the college magazine this mean we
can conclude that the present college magazine is not working.
